Reviewing Saved Communication Drafts

Keep communication drafts organised for review before you send anything to your landlord or agent.

Reviewing Saved Communication Drafts

RentWize helps you keep communication drafts, evidence, and timelines in one place while you review what to send next. Drafts should be checked against your own records and, for legal questions, a tenants' union, community legal centre, solicitor, or state regulator.

Useful Draft Categories

  • Maintenance follow-up — keep repair history and requested next steps together
  • Rent increase notes — collect the notice, dates, and supporting records for review
  • Bond claim notes — organise condition reports, photos, and messages
  • Rental discussion notes — prepare factual points you want reviewed before sending
  • Tribunal preparation notes — gather facts and evidence for professional review

How to Save a Draft

  1. Open your property and navigate to the relevant section (e.g., Maintenance, Rent History, Bond)
  2. Tap the issue you want to address
  3. Open the communication notes or draft area
  4. Add the facts, dates, attachments, and next steps you want reviewed
  5. Save the draft with the related issue so it stays attached to the right evidence

Reviewing Your Draft

Always read a draft carefully before sending. Check:

  • Your name and address are correct
  • The dates and amounts are accurate
  • The tone is appropriate for the situation
  • The requested next step is clear and supported by your records

You can edit saved notes before copying them into your own email or document.

Keep a copy of all correspondence in your Evidence Vault.

Draft Storage

Saved drafts are kept in your Documents section. They remain accessible for the life of your account and can be included with related evidence exports.
